SQL Injection attack in Barracuda Networks
SQL Injection exploits the poorly written web application. The Hacker may provide SQL command along with the data in the web form and it gets executed in the backend database leads to the SQL injection attack. Barracuda Networks become the latest victim to this attack. Their corporate website was compromised.
This post lists that Hackers got information related to the list of database and its contents. The database is related to marketing and the names and email id information is stored in the database. Hash value of the password is stored in the database.
Barracuda Networks also confirmed this attack in their blog.
