ejabberd - Jabber/XMPP instant messaging server
ejabberd is a Jabber/XMPP instant messaging server. It is a software to communicate and collaborate in real-time between two or more people based on typed text. It is cross-platform, fault-tolerant, clusterable and modular. The client communication could be encrypted. It supports IPv6, Web-based Administration Interface, Command line tool and lot more.
User accounts can authenticate against an LDAP server. It supports ODBC data storage and it has native database database integration to PostgreSQL or MySQL.

ChatAppChatApp is the final year project done by Cijoe James and Mary Ann. The objective of this project is to create an XMPP chat application capable of connecting to any XMPP server like Google Talk.
