OpenStack - Software for building Private and Public Clouds
OpenStack is a cloud operating system that controls large pools of compute, storage, and networking resources throughout a datacenter, all managed through a dashboard that gives administrators control while empowering their users to provision resources through a web interface.
OpenStack Compute (Nova): Manages large networks of virtual machines. It is designed to manage and automate pools of compute resources and can work with widely available virtualization technologies, as well as bare metal and high-performance computing (HPC) configurations.
OpenStack Storage (Swift): Object and Block storage for use with servers and applications. Object Storage is ideal for cost effective, scale-out storage. It provides a fully distributed, API-accessible storage platform that can be integrated directly into applications or used for backup, archiving and data retention.
OpenStack Networking: Pluggable, scalable, API-driven network and IP management. Like other aspects of the cloud operating system, it can be used by administrators and users to increase the value of existing datacenter assets.
OpenStack Image Service (Glance): Provides discovery, registration, and delivery services for virtual disk images.

CloudSim: A Framework For Modeling And Simulation Of Cloud Computing Infrastructures And ServicesCloud computing is the leading technology for delivery of reliable, secure, fault-tolerant, sustainable, and scalable computational services. For assurance of such characteristics in cloud systems under development, it is required timely, repeatable, and controllable methodologies for evaluation of new cloud applications and policies before actual development of cloud products. Because utilization of
Updated on May 23rd 2012 Scalr - Open-source cloud management softwareScalr is an open source cloud management software that greases the wheels on web applications. You can think of us as a little sysadmin robot that monitors your servers. Scalr helps you managing public and private cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services, Rackspace, Cloudstack, Nimbula and Eucalyptus We provide automation to our clients’ operations so that they can enjoy a smooth ride over that sudden spike in traffic.
Diffuser is an automatic cluster deployment tool for distributed filesystems in cloud infrastructures (IaaS). It is designed to help users to deploy a bunch of virtual server instances inside AWS-compatible cloud infrastructures that are already connected via popular distributed filesystems. Why Develop DiffuserIt's easy to work with public or private cloud infrastructures (e.g. Amazon EC2, Eucalyptus, OpenNebula or Nimbus) but deploying a cluster of virtual server instances that have a distribu
